Learn More about Bushy Park

Bushy Park is the second largest Royal Park in London. It is located in the district of Richmond upon Thames, in the southwest of the British capital. Covering an area of 4.5km², Bushy Park links directly to Hampton Court Palace and Hampton Court Park. The area now known as Bushy Park is 4,000 years old: the earliest archaeological remains found date from the Bronze Age, but there is also evidence that the park was used in the Middle Ages as an agricultural field.

Every year it welcomes thousands of tourists and Londoners who come to enjoy its facilities and the natural outdoor atmosphere that appeals to people of all ages.
Bushy Park has something for the whole family with an equal mix of relaxation and activity. It's also a great place for sports lovers to get active.
You can also visit "The Upper Lodge Water Gardens" a garden within Bushy Park with a series of pools, waterfalls and canals in baroque style.

There is a wealth of wild animals and plants for the more than two million visitors who pass through each year.
Bushy Park has a different landscape to other parks and this is partly due to its history. As well as having a large number of ponds and streams, it was once a royal hunting ground.

You can come and relax with your family here without any problem !
